Counselling and Psychotherapy in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Hello

You might be looking at my website for several reasons. Perhaps you are immersed in grief, anxiety, feeling completely overwhelmed or lost.

During the coronavirus outbreak, I am seeing all my clients remotely, either via the internet or telephone.  I deliver the sessions from my normal counselling room to protect confidentiality. These sessions are going very well, especially when using a visual method such as Skype.  I am happy to use an alternative platform to suit my clients.

You don't have to go through this alone.

Locations

I CONDUCT MY THERAPY SESSIONS IN ROUNDHAY, NORTH LEEDS

My therapy room  (postcode LS8 1JY) is in a peaceful residential area. This quiet room is accessed from the hallway which leads from my front door. Although it is a downstairs room, there are steps up to my front door which could cause difficulties for somebody with access requirements. There is a bathroom on the same floor. The on-street parking is free.

My location is close to the beautiful Roundhay Park in north Leeds. This enables me to offer walking therapy in the park to clients who have had a few sessions and feel more comfortable talking in the open air.

J, Leeds

“Jane helped me find myself. She’s attentive, observant, empathic but also questioning and challenging when she feels it’s right. It’s been brilliant working with Jane and I recommend her to anyone. She has the unique ability to dig deeper than the surface and for that I am indebted to her.”

Testimonials

D, Leeds

"Jane was a tremendous help to me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. She was unfailingly kind, compassionate, patient and insightful. Her counselling support made it possible for me to manage and recover from feelings of anxiety and depression, to re-frame my thoughts, and to strengthen my inner resolve to be able to deal with ongoing difficulty and pain in my life. I am very much more resilient now than when I first started working with Jane, and her professional expertise and skill played a huge part in my recovery. I will always be grateful for the support that she gave me."

E, Leeds

"I just wanted to say thank you so much again for everything over the last few months. You have so helped me to discover a vast amount about myself, and, although it has been very hard, I am glad I went through the process and feel I am a stronger person for doing so. I expect I will come back to you at some point in the future (although I hope I don't have to!) but please do know what a valuable person you have been for me."
